Hi Mike,

In Capture 3.0, snapping was a mode that you had to turn on. In Capture 2005 it is always on, but activated by a short time delay. When holding a truss item close to another, the snapping activates and shows you in a purple color where it will snap. If you wish to avoid that happening you can press the Escape key when the purple highlight shows.
