Hi! I recently purchased a license and im looking the new version specs. I have a question about the led strip, i see that they can be folded and moved for make curved forms, but only on 2d view (x axis) (top), and i need to make curve to on the other axis (y?), for example, to make a spiral led curve. Sorry for my english!
It's kind of possible, but your best option would be to model it externally and use a texture generator.
When you select a node in the LED strip, you can set the 3D location in the "selected items" section, and change the bezier curve angles in the live views. They do maintain 6 axis freedom, so you can manipulate the rotation in different views.
It's difficult to get the exact geometry to match, but you should be able to get close.
Ok, so i can model a led strip on blender for example like a common 3d object and later import to capture, and use with a texture generator like what? like a screen trought ndi on resolume, or what? Thanks for help me
