For cable lengths, instead of rounding to specific increments, could we have the option to enter a list of the actual lengths available? For example, a company I work with has DMX cables in lengths of 1.5m, 3m, 5m, and 10m, or power cables in lengths of 2.5m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 20m, 25m, and 50m. Increments are of limited use in cases like that.
Oh yeah! I forgot to wrote this one up many times! This would be really helpful.
Suppose you're running a power cable and the distance is 36m. With the lengths you wrote, Capture would then display 50m.
We considered the option of having Capture starting to suggest combinations of cables in cases like this, like 20+20 och 15+25 or 10+10+20.. but then you need an inventory and you need to consider it together with all other cable runs, so we don't think it's feasible.
What are you thoughts on this?
