I have a model imported from Vectorworks via MVR and in doing so it placed the rotational anchor very far from the object. Is there a quick way to re-centre the anchor on the object I have selected?
Manually repositioning it onto the object is a) inaccurate and b) a pain in tha backside
I am looking for a one shot "centre to object" or "centre to selection" option which holds.
Is what you imported a single object, or are there multiple objects in that file?
I'd assume this is the way vectorworks is exporting the model.
Capture places the anchor at the origin of the imported model. It looks like WV is exporting the actual model using its world coordinates, rather than relative coordinates.
Depending what format you're using, you could use something like blender to relocate the model to be centered on the origin.
