I am trying to download the library for use in Capture Student Version 2026. However, when I attempt to do so, I receive the following message: "Failed to install Library - please check your user permissions." This message appears with both library installation methods. How should I proceed?
The student edition has a library with a reduced amount of fixtures and trusses. I assume that is why you cannot update the library. The error message could be a bit more helpful here @capture
That could be Capture not being able to copy the file to the right location. This could happen if you're out of disk or if there is an issue with permissions. You better reach out to sales@capture.se so we can investigate closer.
