I usually organize my fixtures into layers by type of fixture, so I can quickly apply separate colors to washes, beams, spots, etc. However, when creating plots, especially in festival situations where trusses are very close together in front view, it can become difficult to maintain a clean and readable layout.

Because of that, I think it would be extremely useful to have a filtering option based on fixture location (and not only layers and universes), or the ability directly in the plot to filter by location.

This would make it very easy to create separate plot views showing only LX1, LX2, FLOOR, and so on. I’m sure this feature would greatly simplify the workflow and improve readability in complex rigs.
