"dummy" circuts on drawing to signel that there is a 16A for band or able to put custom text as with amps and how much wats it uses.
I use capture for power calculations and want the options to put in 16amps or custom power on outlets to get them in the power calculations, like 16A for FOH, 16A for waffle iron under the stage ( A must.... very important).
All this so they show up on my raports as an item, and gets calculated in the power, but also shows up on the drawing as outlet with unit name etc.
You can use the built-in symbols for power outlets and group a report item to them, so they show up in the reports.
This is true, I can do it that way, but this involves extra steps and I'm hoping they would make it better for documentation.
Once you have grouped a Report Item with a Symbol it's very fast to copy/clone though - hardly much of an extra step?
Ressurecting this idea. I've managed to get items to show in reports etc. But I'd love to be able to include them on plots too. Trying to show power drops along trusses for speakers, and it's annoying having to have a different schema. I've already grouped report items with them and patched the circuit field like I would for a fixture. But nothing appears in the Plot View. Am I missing a trick with adding a symbol or other feature to my model to make this information show? Or is it not possible? I even tried adding a LED panel as I know I can make it small, rename it etc. But I forgot those don't show patch information in plot view.
