Would you please add the possibility to switch off the new flare feature in the iOS app? It takes a fair amount of extra processing power, which I would like to keep down as much as possible.

I'm a bit surprised that the flare would slow things down on iOS. Have you tried with and without and have conclusive results?

I suspect what we really need is to bring more of the view settings over. Unfortunately they aren't stored though.

I did some further testing. It appears that you are right that flare does not affect performance (as much) as I thought.
So what's left is a matter of taste. I like the simulation better without the flare.

Whatever settings you make for the Alpha view when editing the project in Capture is what you get in the iOS app - it is basically showing you the Alpha view. We have contemplated adding controls over all the view properties in the iOS app, but the problem is it doesn't have the capability to save the project file so any settings you make will either be lost every time you open a project, or we would have to store them separately (which then begs the question under which circumstances these should be wiped).
