I notice that the font size is smaller in 2026 over all the the program.
I dont like it at all; its not that its illegible, it just too small to be comfortable.
The font size in 2025 and right back to at least 2022 (and perhaps further back) is fine, why change it if its not broken?
If you want to keep this smaller size as the default, please allow the option to change it.
thanks

We had to switch from letting the OS draw the text to drawing it ourselves in order to provide all of the new functionality in the property lists and tables.
In general all text sizes should still be the same though. Could you be more specific as to which text size(s) you feel has changed?
The small font change is in all the selections from the “Windows” menu (Layers, filters, fixture groups, etc) and much of the Project window.
Here are screenshots of the Project window; same file in 2025 & 2026 in a default quad layout.
This is Windows 11, running on a laptop; the display is on an external monitor @ 1920 x 1080
The font size is very different in the fixtures tab, the layers tab and the views tab.
For sure you pack more information in the same space in 2026, but at the expense of comfortable readability.
As for packing more info in the same space, its not a problem anyway since you can always make the project window full screen, or float it or even offload it to another monitor.
Some tabs remain the same – for example the font size in the filter library is identical.
Please revert the font sizing back to the 2025 and previous releases; the 2026 small-font display is a ‘solution’ looking a problem.
Or, perhaps just give us the option to use either size via a preference in tools / options, the same way we can choose various interface colors.
Cheers
