I have a vizkey and recently updated to the latest capture version | I usually work with 2 devices, one with Capture (Macbook M4 Max) and a Windows Computer running the MA3 onPC software If I use the localhost nic on the macbook and open capture first and then the MA3 software on the same computer, I'm able to open both of them without any trouble. But when I try to connect capture with a real console or the onPC software on another computer it won't show up in the list of devices, regardless both consoles or computers can get into an MA Session together.
I believe that I have discovered the issue. It seems like the latest version for capture is not able to select the correct MA3 Nic on MacOS and therefore no multicast traffic is generated at all and therefore the MA3 software is not able to find the device and start a session. After analyzing the network traffic for the port used by the Multicast group for MA3 (30020), Capture 2026 only generated mutlicast data when it used the localhost NIC, but not with the network one. As soon as I opened the Capture 2025, Multicast data started to flow over.
