I Think it will be nice to render Videos with Audio that I Can send a complett Timecode Show to a Customer or Show it in a Präsentation to them .

so my Feature Request is : Record a render Movie with a Video file with Audio or only a Audio file and send Timecode out that u can trigger the lighting desk when u Hit Record to start everything simultan to Record and render it

Maybe it should be the other way around. Since Capture after all is not a video editing suite, it might be better to add the audio after the fact.
the feature request to make this happen in a synchronized way would be to add a Start recording a Movie Snapshot on timecode. Or maybe via OSC could also work.

Same here. I know Capture is a visualization as already stated in the name. However, it does not make much impact sending out a video to client without audio. I have been asking this since last year.

We're trying hard to avoid this because it's not just a matter of adding the audio, you also need to sync it up properly which quickly adds complexity.

As I’ve been pondering this, the OSC method seems like the most graceful approach to get this done. OSC can be used to trigger both the beginning of the audio and the start of the recording in Capture. This ensures the audio is at least aligned at the start. For most clips, this should be sufficient. If the total duration doesn’t go over 5 minutes, any slight drift should be imperceptible. Since OSC is widely used in lighting and audio software, it should be quite widely supported.

It doesn't harm to extend the Capture OSC library either ;-)
