Is there a trick to selecting the end of a LED Strip to work with the bezier curve function?

I am not able to select one of the ends if I am viewing the strip from the side - have to reposition view so I have some width to the end of the strip before I'm able to select it.

Also, is there a way to add control points to the LED strip for more control over curve?

Answering part of my own question... gear icon/split  (command "-" on a Mac) adds a control point.

Hi,

For me, I can only put a led strip out, and then trying to adjust length does not work because it's greyed out, same with the gear icon as you said. the split is greyed out (mor me), so I can't add a split either.

So for now, I don't know how to use it as intended.

I think the screen needs to be in wireframe mode before editing the curves.

You want to be in wireframe and you need to double click on an endpoint of the LED strip and then move it.

I'm finding real difficulty in creating a 3m circle. I am unable to move the points if I am looking directly on a top/side/front plain, and if I move off it slightly then I start to curve across XYZ which is not the intention! Then when I do manage to move the points, despite it largely following a curve the direction then resets at the final and initial point to the direction the fixture was first in.

Any tips on how I can create a simple 3m circle/ring of LED tape? I am doing all this in wireframe mode.

Thanks, and hello! This is my first forum post. Thank you for introducing this new feature :)
