How do I know the sling is correctly attached to a truss or a pipe? I don't see the hanging symbol
The Sling object in Capture 2026 does not require any additional tool. Simply drag and drop it into your design aligned with your truss or pipe and it will snap into position automatically.
To verify the placement, we recommend switching to a front or side view in Wireframe or Plot mode, where you can clearly see the correct position of the sling.

can we attach 2 slings or split one sling to become a bridle ? i tried inserting 2 slings symetrical to the same truss with simetrical angles to form a bridle and it copied the weight identical is that correct ?
The slings are two point - not bridles. I would not expected what you tried to work.
Does that mean the calculation of Load of every sling does only work with Export the Data to Production Assist?

I have a related question regarding the Capture 2026 / Production Assist integration.
How should custom models, especially line array speakers, be created in Capture so that Production Assist recognises them as suspended loads hanging from the rig?
Example: I create or import a custom line array speaker model in Capture and place it below a truss, attached via a sling / hanging point. In Capture it looks visually correct, but in Production Assist the weight is not recognised as a load on the truss.
What is the correct workflow for this?
Specifically:
The goal is to use custom line array models in Capture and have their weight correctly transferred to Production Assist as a suspended load on the rig.
Thanks for clarifying.
Does it work when you group a report item with the correct weight to your imported line array model?
