I and My Client has a problem. We want to fill objects to color (like stage deck, chairs etc.), but I can’t found how to do this. Support said it's impossible to create a 'custom view' in draw/plot. Is there a way to add this, or some alternative way to generate plots/drawings with the desired solution?
I'm not sure if I understood correctly, but you just need to split the objects into layers and change the color settings of the layers.
If this is the case, I suggest using the Issues | How to | Other sections first, and then, if the question isn't solved, posting in the new features section.
I hope this helps.
That's correct, but I need objects like chairs and the stage deck to be filled with color (not just the skeleton) in draw/plots. Spaces like walls and floors to be only outlined with lines. I also need to be able to display descriptions/dimensions/text that disappear in the orthographic grid view.
For filling the chair and stage area, try adding color to the layer by changing the Paper Solid Colour. Keep the Paper Colour white (or gray or black), as you prefer.
If walls and floors should only be outlined, do the opposite: white for Paper Solid Colour and the color you want for Paper Colour.
You can change size settings and what appears or not in the plot view in Plot Styles.
No text will appear in Orthographic View: that´s a FEATURE REQUEST!!!
