I would love to be able to place a generic hoist item in my workspace, to estimate how much clearance I need to leave from roof beams, grid etc for my design.

Ideally this is represented by the Rigging Plot symbols in the overhead plot but is clearly visible on a section or perspective view, with variable chain lengths to assess trim heights, and changeable properties to account for different hoist types in reports etc

The main purpose of this rather than becoming an all in one rigging and calculation tool, would be to check that the design I have drawn will actually fit in the space once we add in the necessary eqiupment to get it into the sky. Typically I will estimate this and only find out that I'm wrong when I send my design over to an adult to bring into vectorworks who will then tell me I'm being silly and my giant LED wall won't fit in the building unless I lose a panel.

I know I can place a 3D model etc for a closer representation in generated parperwork, but a native solution would be very useful.

Thanks
