Hello everyone,
We recently purchased Capture. I encountered the following problem quite early on:
When exporting from Vectorworks to Capture via MVR, the focus points and pan/tilt values of the fixtures are lost. Is there a way to include these or convert them to XYZ rotation?
Many thanks in advance!

As Capture does not support focus points, it works better if you unassign the focus points in Vectorworks first (whilst keeping the correct focus) before you export. That ensures the correct pan and tilt values for the imported fixtures.

Hey,
Thanks for your reply. I don't have any focus points in my drawing. I just adjusted a series of fixtures in the hall trusses by hand. And Capture seems to ignore these values. Maybe you guys have another suggestion.

If you move and orientate your fixtures in VW using XYZ rotation this will come across via MVR if you use Pan tilt it won't. That is for ML if you have a punch of S4's on the other hand the only way to get the focus across is to us FP's in VW. Well as far as I remember. Make yourself a small project and play around with it
