Please add the ability to give individual fixtures a colour identification. This would need to allow split colours - for example yellow/green horizontal lines (earth tape) plus an additional colour Earth + Red for example. This information would need to be avaliable in reports and optionally plots in an appropriate container.

This is quite specific. I would be interested in hearing more about the workflow you need this in? Might you already have a picture or two of the intended end result?

Hi Lars,

Attached is an example of the colour codes for this current Project, these are needed in the warehouse for pre addressing / easy identification of fixtures and of truss locations, so it's essential to have this feature in the final paperwork thats provided to the lighting company, technicians etc. Hope this makes sense and is something that could be incorporated in time.

I can't see the image, maybe because it wasn't pasted in the post?

So due to the split colors, you won't be able to just use layer colors in reports if that was available? Because that springs to mind as a useful thing to implement.

For now I typcially use the Notes section, the location feature or the Fixture Groups for situations like this, each can be on reports. You just don't get an image of the color but it gets the information on there. You can use the location feature, and just have color info in the title like "DS (white)" or DOWNSTAGE (wht/grn), and create a fixture location report and that will split automaticaly by location.

Hope that helps!
