Design > Layers > Colors – Automatic : Have an option to assign different colors to multiple selected layers. I suggest using the current palette levels: all lighter, all between light and standard RGB, and darker.

The groups that include 12 colors in rows on the color palette are as follows, from top to bottom:
Lighter
between Lighter and Standard RGB mixing
RGB mixing
Darker
In addition it is useful to be able to change the layer color and paper color at the same time or add a checkbox to always change (at least the outline) color together.
