Hello,
we have a video LED ball and want to insert it into Capture for pre-programming and add media content. is it possible to insert a video LED ball?

Is there already something like this in the library?

It would be perfect:
To create a generic video LED ball where you can adjust the size and the pixel pitch.
and work with mediainputs.

Greetings and thanks

Unfortunately, spherical video walls are not currently supported in Capture.
However, you can achieve a visually similar result by following these steps:

1. Add a Sphere hull from the Objects library.

2. Set Rotation to 360° and Height Rotation to 180° to create a full sphere.

3. Adjust the other dimensions to match the size of your video ball.

4. Add a media player (https://www.capture.se/Ma....html#media-players)
5. Create a new material and set its Texture Media property to the Media Player you just created.

6. Drag and drop the material onto the sphere to apply it.

7. Press Play on the Media Player.

8. Map the material to Extents so it covers the whole ball

9. Adjust the Luminance of the material to match the brightness of your real-world video ball. (For reference, 300 nits is roughly equivalent to the brightness of a typical computer monitor.)

10. Enjoy your previsualization!

You are welcome. Please keep in mind that the light emitted from the Texture Generator in this case is not interacting with the environment. Finally, let me also add this relevant video tutorial that may help you further.
