Capture 2024 - Robe Flower

    Just trying to clarify something.

    I bought Capture 2024 two  months ago

    I saw some ad copy that Capture 2025 has the Robe Flower effect. 
    I have Robe Spikie's and use the flower.effect a lot

    It sounds like they didn't call it a fixture update, and instead made it part of a new software release, so if I want to see the effect, I have to pay to upgrade to 2025 two months after buying?

    Am I correct on this?

    If so my timing could not suck more.

    Hi,

    Not really, we don't do excuses like that to sell. I spent a few weeks working on the flower effect in Capture 2025. It's a sort of procedurally generated digital gobo, nothing like anything we had done before. The way it appears in a pattern projecting beam that replaces the regular soft beam was also completely new. It required actual engineering and software devevelopment to make it work.
