I'm on a Mac Studio 2022 / Apple M1 Max / 32 Gb Memory / Monterey 12.4

Capture 2024 Student Edition Version 2024.0.44

When making changes to my capture stage plot and sometimes when panning around the live view, my computer locks up and I have to hard reset by holding down the power button for 4 seconds.

I am using capture as a visualiser for Ableton Live (DAW) and Beam for Live (DAW-DMX interface software). When making changes to certain audio effects in Ableton, which then affect what Capture is rendering, I also experience the same hangs. 

This is an intermittent problem. Sometimes it happens 3 minutes into a programming session. Sometimes it happens after an hour.
