I've been using capture for some weeks already, and it is a bit frustrating trying to zoom in, as all the other keyboard combinations with the mouse work to move around, but I'm not able to use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in, it will just turn the camera angle and have tried all the possible key combinations with that scroll function. I'm able to get the zoom to work, doing the pinch gesture on the trackpad, but won't work on my mouse.
Have you been through the Tools->Options menu in case there is a setting that suits your needs?

I'm MacOS Though after more trying, I figured out which option I had to change to enable the feature

I have the same issue with a new mouse i just got. With my old cable mouse it worked fine. Can you tell us which option you have changed please?

Okay I figured it out as well: I am using Logitec MX Master 3
Tools -> Options -> Navigator -> "Disable trackpad panrotation" @yes
