Spin the objects with reference to its own horizontal axis (related to the light output) regardless of its spatial position.
Great request!! Wish this option would be available. Remember in MA3D this option was possible by selecting the "world-axis" or the "object-axis"
This is already possible by grabbing the black part instead of the red part of the rotate flag/Anker or however it is called. Or am I not understanding your question correctly?
No, you don't understand.
We are talking about a fixture (or object) already rotated in x, y and z.
Try turning a fixture that is emitting light primarily upwards (in y), upside down without changing it in x and z.
If this object could be rotated along its own axes, it would make it much easier.
Hi, I think I understand what you mean, but not why you would need to do this. If it is for focus? Do you feel you are not accurate enough by using a right mouse click in the Live view with the fixture selected?
No, Florian, you can't even resolve this issue focusing.
Ultimately, it is a feature that exists in other softwares and that helps a lot when you have complex projects.
Can you describe what you need the function for?

That´s it!
I had already had this need in a Christmas project for the Brasília Cathedral in the structures that go up.
Look for the building!
I'm working on a handrail of a three-story helical staircase in a stadium. I placed the fixtures (224) pointing upwards and the customer wants to see what it looks like diagonally.
That´s it.
+1! This is extremely usefull when you have multiple fixtures placed around for example an arena and want them all to look 45 degrees down.
You can do this by selecting an object and using the Ctrl4 view, which turns the view so it matches the rotation of the selected item. But a rotate object would be cool too.
