It would be nice but Capture have said the software is a lighting designers tool and nothing more, show visualisation has become more than lighting design and visualising lighting fixtures. Let's see how it goes, might have to save up and buy other software that offers these features.
This would be an excellent feature to have as well. I'm not sure about drone and firework, but spark, fire, and fountain I think certainly fit. Capture already does a pretty good job of including spark and fire fixtures in the library, but to my knowledge, none of them actually support real behavior or even rendering the effect at all. For example, we have Shouven Sparkular Jet 2 and uFlamer. We use Capture for visualization, but we also use it for show timing verification for pre-recorded sequences... trying to get our program as close as possible in the visualization stage before tweaking it live at an event.
Currently, we have to use a single channel lighting fixture to simulate the timing of sparks. What I would really love to see is the Flame Jet feature added to existing Flame fixtures, and a new Spark Standalone fixture added, and then the Spark feature added to Spark fixtures.
It would be nice to have some simple control options on these as well. For example, delay, height, width, etc... We can technically get by without having these integrated into the existing fixtures. Using just the standalone items is usually good enough, but the delay and size parameters would be really nice. For example, on fixtures like the Sparkular Jet, When you give the proper sequence of startup commands to turn the heaters on and prime the jets, when you fire the trigger channel, there is a settable delay before the effect actually fires, fhis is needed on the fixture to ensure the fuel heats properly, and you can change this value on the fixture. Currently, it's defaulted at 0.6 seconds. A configurable delay parameter would be awesome.
