I am planning on connecting my console to Capture, but the console only outputs DMX and not ARTnet. So do I just need to get a DMX to ARTnet converter These converters aren't cheap so I just want to make sure it will work. Also, Is a network switch required to connect a console to Capture Or can I just connect directly from the ARTnet output to the computer's LAN port Thanks

Hi, I've been using Capture Extended for laser and lighting console programming. I'm currently programming a tour that has a video wall and would like to see this video feed in Capture. On the tour I'm using a GrandMA2 to send DMX to control video clips stored on an ImageCue. The ImageCue sends either HDMI or DVI to an Elation scaler, which sends video to the wall. Hi guys, I just purchased Capture Solo edition and so far it's amazing. One thing though, why can't you send ILDA messages into Capture in order to visualise the laser projectors. LaserAnimation and Pangolin are PC only programs and require special DAC's to control the lasers. Why haven't Capture supported the ILDA open laser standard I am an OSX software developer and would love to use capture to visualise the laser projectors from my custom OSX software. Surely it couldn't be too hard to do ...

Hi all, the first production of the season is over and I'm finishing my paperwork, now Iam having some issues in plotcreation in the latest version of Argo. I'm wondering if it is a bug or feature ;-) that I can't move the Channelnumber and the DMX-Address-Field in paperview, because I can't select them alone, so now their position is fixed below the symbol. Another thing is that you can assign a filter only in a 3D-view and not in Paperview anymore, that's ok but you always have to search for ...

So for the first time, I'm having trouble with a complex Sketchup model that I was sent from our scenic designer. Wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks for simplifying the model down a bit. It imports no problem but then just makes Capture incredibly slow and sluggish. I've had (what I think are) more complex models than this with no problems before, so I'm hoping someone might have some insight into some tricks that have worked for them in the past because I am not well versed in Sketch...

Ive updatet Hog4Pc to version 3.2 and also the Hog4 Connectivity Driver to version 3.2 . Now the Hog4 Connectivity Driver wont open when the Capture window is loading. Did anyone else here noticed this problem Capture version is 21.0.12

Here's a slight difficulty I've come across. I built a rig, and then found out that all the fixtures needed to be rotated by 180 degrees. 'No problem' I thought, 'I'll just select them all and type in '180' into the Y rotation field. Except it seems that Capture will only accept values up to 90º, after that, it 'starts over' again, so a rotation value of 180º gives the same result as a value of 0º. The only way around this that I've found is to individually zoom in, individually select each fix...
