3 pin 5 pin

I have ordered dmxis and show Buddy.
New 2nd computer with high end graphics card also ordered.
Now I need enttec usb pro. i noticed it connects via 5 pin dmx.
All my dmx cables for my lights are 3 pin. If I connect from dmxis to enttec usb pro with 5 pin for capture will this make any difference when i run the real show in 3 pin
I am new to lighting software so this may be a silly question,sorry. i just want to be sure i have all the correct equipement.

import .dwg from Sketchup

Hello.
I am trying to import from sketchup.
It works ok, i get it in there and it looks good.
But i do not get any textures at all, everything has a red color to it.
If i import back the exported .dwg into sketchup it don't turn out perfect there eider, but at least with the right textures.
I am using 2.10.18 in osx (sketchup 2013 in windows)
What can i do

v2.10.16 stops responding on OSX

I installed 2.10.16 on my Macbook Pro (running OSX 10.6.8) a few days ago. Now, about 80 of times when I close Capture, it stops responding during the shut down and I have to force quit.Is this a known issue or special for me! Any suggestions what to check or tryCheers, Nige

I'm new to the computer run dmx arena. I just bought the Enttec DMXIS system with Show Buddy. I watched a demo on YouTube featuring my system with Capture Polar. I searched the web, looked at many posts on your site and haven't found an answer. I downloaded the student version to try out, it seems to work fine within itself. What do I need to do to use the DMXIS software with Capture Thank you very much for your time.

To those of you on the fence undecided about getting this program, I say, stop scratching your head and throw down the $$$!
Lars, Vangelis and the rest of the Capture team are totally dedicated to their product and their customers.
I've used a few visualizers in the past that were very fine however when it comes to fixture updates and tech assistance, these guys break from the pack to provide the best service I've experienced.
No, I'm not related to anyone (lol) in fact, I'm sure Vangel...

Beam Shape

Hi Guys,
I'm not quite sure weather this is an issue with my PC or a general issue but when I use a frost (Even a very heavy frost) it has no effect on the light quality.
Another thing that is putting me off buying the full version of the software over my current visualization software is the beam shape of things like a CP62 lamp in a PAR can surely should have an oblong beam that can be rotated I know this is not a massive issue and probably isn't the top of the list of things to be fix...

Hi to the whole capture-team!
Thanks for the new version of the program. The dimmercurve of the tungsten lighting is getting much better! The led simulation is more realistic now and the brightness of them too, great. I have tested some cues live and was impressed. The only bug i found, but this is some for the fixturecorrection i think is, that a rgbw-fluorescent from glp (startube) has the wrong color on the right dmxchannel and an mac2000perf2 has an gobo in it, when it should be clear and ...
