General question on program capabilities

Hello all,
i had the pleasure to get a short introduction / presentation into capture by Lasse at the pro light and sound in Frankfurt. Unfortunately I was under serious time pressure (not Lasse, he took every time asked for!). So some questions remained unanswered or popped up later.

Capture Polar with Congo Offline Editor

I currently use a late 2008 MacBook to run my ETC Congo Offline Editor and would like to use capture for programming and visualization when I am on the road and can not be at my Congo Jr. desk. What is the best way to do this Can it be done on one machine or do I need 2

Capture executable

Hi there,
I have been sent a .exe file exported from capture and I need to control the vis from a Hog4PC on the same PC..
Firstly is this possible and secondly is there something I'm missing- the Hog4 connection window says running and active like normal.. However I have no control over the fixtures as I patch them..
Any help gratefully received!

Feature Request: Stored Camera Views

It would be great to be able to 'record' custom camera views and then have them recalled by pressing a key on the keyboard. I currently attach DMX to the cameras and record cues on the lighting desk to achieve this, but it would be usefel to have the same functionality when Capture is standalone.
Currently keys 6,7,8,9,& 0 are not assigned to any shortcuts. Maybe those keys could be 'user views'. Perhaps CTRL- could act as a 'record current view' and then pressing the alone could r...

Hi All,
I would be interested to hear if anyone else shares my frustration with the lack of conventional symbols Don't get me wrong the fairly recent additions of the ETC library are great and they certainly make plots look much better.
Could I request that Strand and Selecon symbols are added to the list There are particular fixtures I would really benefit from and I can list them if that gives you a more targeted approach to adding them. For me this has more value than having hundred...

Layers visibility

Hello, I have just bought the Solo edition and am well on the way to creating my first project, of of the stages at Glastonbury. I am loving this 0 its brilliant software and I wish I had bought it years ago.
Couple of questions - I am bulding in layers, such as stage, roof, truss, set etc. I have figured out how to assign objects to layers and to lock them from being edited, but cannot see a way to turn them off - ie hide them.
How is that done
