Importing layers

Just been having my first play around with Argo, it's looking very good. I hope you don't mind me pointing out a few things as I notice them...
When importing things from other project files it is great that layer information is now also imported. However, I did notice that this will always create new layers, even if there are existing layers in the project with the same name, so you end up with duplicate layers named the same which is confusing. Would it be possible for the software to look for...

How can I edit objects from capture
Problem: I have several stage decks which are irregular shapes! Can I export objects from capture to some program (preferably free) to edit them and then import them back into capture are these .obj files
Is there any detailed explanation anywhere

Align function

Hi,
I saw in the Argo manual there are two new functions Align and spread but when i draw a simple actor and try to align or spread i can't seem to find this function.
Can you help me put please
I also want to point out it is still not possible to give the rotation anchor an exact position when rotating or cloning models.
This is something i have been asking for a few years now.
How come it is still not possible in Argo
