A warning about macOS 10.13 High Sierra
Following recent support issues and worldwide reports from the gaming industry we have found ourselves in a position where we need to issue a warning to our users about upgrading to the latest macOS 10.13 High Sierra.
Changes to the OpenGL drivers made by Apple and/or Intel, AMD and NVidia have caused performance and stability issues. Issues reported range from unexplainable graphics artefacts to instabilities causing both application and full operating system crashes. With this type of system issues there is nothing we can do but hope that Apple quickly releases an update that resolves the instabilities.
We recommand that you either hold off updating to macOS 10.13 High Sierra or proceed with extreme caution - make sure to back up your system so you can roll back to macOS 10.12 or install an isolated macOS 10.13 instance on a separate disk to first test whether your system will be stable or not.
We are monitoring the situation carefully and will keep you updated with any developments.
