Tyler Gibson, Capture Illustrator for Arena Video sheds some light on the process of the creation of Ring Of Fire - Tyson Fury vs. Alexander Usyk - Kingdom Arena, Saudi Arabia:
"This event challenged our team's creative abilities to their fullest extent. Our goal was to deliver an unprecedented experience in the boxing industry, and I believe we achieved just that. From the moving artist platform suspended above the boxing ring, along with the 10x 8-meter diameter motorized LX rings, it certainly marked the beginning of a transformative journey for us all at Arena Video."
“Starting with a DWG map of the venue imported from Vectorworks, I began brainstorming with the client and our team.
In total, we deployed over 600 meters of LED tape, 1,500+ fixtures, and utilized more than 40,000 DMX parameters, consuming a total of 900kW of power. The extensive use of video screens, lighting effects, pyrotechnics and other elements of our show originated from collaborative sketches on paper, which were meticulously designed, visualized, and finalized within a matter of weeks. Upon completion, we exported patch documentation, technical plots, weight calculations, power distribution plans, and additional logistical details."
“As a team, we orchestrated audio, lighting, and visual production for the Unification Bout of the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship of the World, featuring Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia - and we are proud to have done so."
“I have unwavering confidence in this software, which I have relied on for years. My gratitude goes to the Capture team for creating such a versatile tool and continuously refining it year after year."
