The Lighting Bits 3D contest in Brazil is now succesfully over. It was hosted by our local reseller Lighting Bits and sponsored by us and Avolites.
In the first round the contestants chose freely a song and used Capture Student Edition to design a stage and Avolites Titan to program it. Then a panel of well known local and international professionals selected the top ten designs who were also awarded with AvoKeys. In the second round the ten previous winners used the full Capture Symphony Edition to design a stage and program it with Titan v15. The final step was again to submit a video render of their programmed song, so here are the top three videos:

"Which Capture feature helped you the most in winning an award in the contest?"
Casemiro Azevedo, 1st prize (Capture Duet & Avolites T2):
"I think specifically the super direct interface with the Titan Suite. I would certainly have re-thought much of the project if I had to do certain things independently 2 times, like Patch, Positions, etc."
Felipe Galdinni, 2nd prize (Capture Solo & AvoKey):
"I don't think just one of them; after all we all had the same resources! The award came from studying the tool in deep and use the myriad of advantages. I used most of the features so hard to talk just about one."
Murilo Gonçalves, 3rd prize (Avokey & Merchandise):
"Great tool Importing MVR and SKETCHUP. Very fast light and accurate. And ease of placing everything on the project."
Congratulations guys, we really enjoyed your designs! A big thank you goes out to all contestants, fellow organizers and judges. It was great fun being part of it, so how about meeting up again in 2022 for another round?
