Hi,  Does Capture support single side rendering / backface culling of imported 3D models I haven't found a solution to this myself and I'm guessing the answer is no. If so, could it be implemented Would be much easier to navigate in models that have a ceiling.

Hi there. Is it possible to switch license between main PC and laptop I currently have a license on my home and studio computers. If I go on tour with a laptop, can I transfer the license to it and put everything back in place when I return

Good Day, I am using Capture 2025.1 on a MacBook Air M3.  I am working on lighting a 20-story building model that I imported from SketchUp.  The problem I have is zooming out far enough to see the entire building. I try to pinch in on the trackpad, but it doesn't do anything.  Can I set the model scale after importing or is that locked once you've set it initially  There is a tool in SketchUp called Zoom Extents that zooms out the model.  Do you have a similar tool in Capture Thank you.

Just trying to clarify something. I bought Capture 2024 two  months ago I saw some ad copy that Capture 2025 has the Robe Flower effect.  I have Robe Spikie's and use the flower.effect a lot It sounds like they didn't call it a fixture update, and instead made it part of a new software release, so if I want to see the effect, I have to pay to upgrade to 2025 two months after buying Am I correct on this If so my timing could not suck more.

Hi Guys, I'm quite new to Capture and I have a general question: How do I get the right orientation for moving heads (according to the real world) Is the model's display in Capture at the same position as at the real fixture Some moving heads - such as Martin devices - have a frontside mark. When I place fixtures in Capture with xyz-rotation 0°/0°/0° where would be this dedicated frontside - Thanks a lot!

I’ve been using the ETC Desire Fresnel LUSTR X8 fixtures for a while in a Capture design, and everything has been working fine up until now. However, recently I’ve noticed that the light beams of those ETC's are no longer round, but instead have a hexagonal shape at maximum zoom. When a small bundle is set, capture shows several overlapping circles. Other fixtures, like the ETC Fos/4 Fresnel Lustr X8 (which is very similar to the Desire), don't have this problem. In the meantime I have ...

Hi all, I wonder if you can help: I want to have a drape that light shines through, like a sharkstooth gauze. I have added a drape to my drawing and set transparency to anything from 50 to 90 but the light beams do not shine through it, they just light up the back side. Is there a way of doing this What Im trying to achieve is to have lights concealed behind the gauze and only revealed when they shine through it. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a 2021 version solo. I have sketchup files that i want to import but the files are greyed out when i try to do so. doesnt anyone know how to fix this
